Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by
Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon:

Decision Approved
That the Leader of the Council, and on behalf of the
Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care:
1. accepted the tender from Your Voice in
Health and Social Care (YVHSC) to deliver a local
Healthwatch Service to the London Borough of
Hillingdon at a total cost of £630,630 for the five -
year period from 1st July 2025 (or as soon as
possible thereafter) and with th e option to extend
for up to three further years at a minimum cost of
£362,340, subject to the contract explicitly including
a break clause should there be no government
funding.
Reason for decision This decision will lead to a local Healthwatch provider being in
place with experience of delivery across multiple local
authorities, which should enhance the involvement of residents
and users of health and social care services in the
commissioning and monitoring of these services.
Since 2013 the Council has received a contribution to the
funding of the Healthwatch Service via the Local Reform and
Community Voices Grant.
This decision was approved subject to an additional clause
being added to the contract should any government funding

That this report be declared as exempt from publication as
it involves the disclosure of information in accordance
with Section 100(A) and paragraphs 1 & 2 of Part 1 of
Schedule 12 (A) to the Local Government Act 1972 (as
amended), in that the report contains information relating
