West London drivers hit by 6 road closures in March - longest lasts 106 days

Several road closures are set to disrupt drivers in Hillingdon in March with utility works set to be carried out across the borough.

This will see six roads closed, however not all will require diversion routes. The longest closure is set to last for 106 days.

New Windsor Street in Uxbridge will be closed from the junction of The Lynch to the junction of Trumper Way. This is to allow cabling works to be carried out by Thames Water whilst avoiding the likelihood of danger to the public.

There will be a diversion route in place via Oxford Road, Denham Roundabout, Denham Road, Church Road and vice versa. The temporary restriction will be in place between 9pm on Monday, March 9, until 5am on Friday, March 13.

East Avenue in Hayes will be closed for 106 days between 8am on Monday, March 9 and 5pm on Monday, May 25. This is for gas main replacement works to be undertaken by Cadent.

There will be a diversion route in place via East Way, Coldharbour Lane and vice versa.

In Harefield, New Years Green Lane is set to close from the junction of Harvil Road to the Junction of Breakspear Road South. The closure will only be in place between 9am and 5pm on Sunday, March 22.

There will be a temporary diversion route in place via Harvil Road, Church Hill, High Street, Breakspear Road North, Northwood Road, White Hill, London Road, Rickmansworth Road, Ducks Hill Road, Breakspear Road and vice versa.

In Ickenham, several roads are set to close due to water mains replacement works carried out by Affinity Water.

Breakspear Road South (Service Road 64 – 114 Copthall Road West), which will close from 8am on Monday, March 30, until 5pm on Wednesday, May 27. There will be no diversion route in place.

Copthall Road West, at its junction with Breakspear Road South, will be closed from 8am on Monday, March 30, until 5pm on Wednesday, May 27. There will be a diversion route in place via St George's Drive, Greenacres Avenue and vice versa.

Finally, in West Drayton, Bellclose Road will be closed from the junction of Brandville Road to the junction of Kingston Lane. This is to allow for water mains replacement works.

The closure will last three days between 8am on Tuesday, March 31 and 5pm on Thursday, April 2. There will be a diversion route in place via Brandville Road, Porters Way, Station Road, Kingston Lane and vice versa.
