Cabinet Member Decision Notice – 3 February 2021 OFFICIAL DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES ON 03 FEBRUARY 2021 The Leader of the Council and the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Transformation have made the following decision today: 1. LEADER OF THE COUNCIL AND CABINET MEMBER FOR CORPORATE SERVICES AND TRANSFORMATION AWARD OF TWO YEAR CONTRACT FOR INSIGHT SOLUTION DECISION: That the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Transformation accepted the single tender from Symology Ltd for the provision of Insight to the London Borough of Hillingdon for a two year period from 1 February 2021 to 31 January 2023 and at the value of £170,314. REASONS FOR THE DECISION MADE To provide an integrated solution for the management of the Council’s Highways and Assets to ensure that the required service levels are achieved and maintained. ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED AND REJECTED To do nothing; this option was not recommended as it would leave the Council with no support for Highways and Asset management, following the expiry of the current contract. FURTHER INFORMATION That this report be declared as exempt from publication as it involves the disclosure of information in accordance with Section 100(A) and paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12 (A) to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), in that the report contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) and that the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it. These decisions, unless called in, will come into effect from 5pm on Wednesday 10 February 2021.
