Executive Decision Notice – 25 January 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision 29- 29a High Road, Cowley – Lease Renewal Of A Commercial Property Reference No. 358 Date of decision Tuesday 25 January 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, on Tuesday 1 February 2022 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance & Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) Brunel Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property & Infrastructure APPROVED That the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure agrees the terms for the renewal of leases negotiated by officers as detailed in this report and authorises Legal Services to complete the new lease on these terms. Reason for decision The Cabinet Member was asked to agree to the proposed surrender and grant of a new lease in accordance with the Council's Constitution. This requires the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure to formally agree terms as set out in the report. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Member could choose not to approve the terms of the surrender and grant of a new lease. This is likely to then require an assignment of the current lease which is not the preferred course of action for any of the parties concerned.
