Executive Decision Notice – 6 June 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision PROVISION OF EPC (ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE) & DEC (DISPLAY ENERGY CERTIFICATE) SURVEYS & REPORTS Reference No. 481 Date of decision Monday 6 June 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Monday 13 June 2022 Relevant Select Committee(s) Property, Highways & Transport Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) All wards Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property , Highways & Transport Approved That the Cabinet Members accept the tender and award of a contract to ESOS ENERGY LTD, for the provision of EPC (ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE) & DEC (DISPLAY ENERGY CERTIFICATE) SURVEYS & REPORTS for Housing and Corporate sites for three years with options to extend for a further two years at a value of £183k (£37k per annum). Reason for decision The proposed contract is required to undertake Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’S), Display Energy Certificates (DEC’S) along with Air-Conditioning Inspections Report (ACIR) and AR (Advisory Report) throughout the London Borough of Hillingdon. The Council requires ESOS Energy Ltd to action Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’S), Display Energy Certificates (DEC’S) along with Air-Conditioning Inspections Report (ACIR) and AR (Advisory Report) for the London Borough of Hillingdon HRA and General stock to comply with UK legislation. The London Borough of Hillingdon as a council must commission the service to have energy performance certificates issued for all our stock, be it commercial corporate or housing.
