making the decision
Councillor Jonathan Bianco , Cabinet Member for Corporate
Services & Property
Decision Approved
That the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services & Property
agreed with the letting negotiated by officers as detailed in
this report and instruct Property and Estates to complete
the appropriate new letting.
Reason for decision After marketing the café, six offers were received, and AV
Leisure Ltd was selected, and agreed by the Cabinet Member,
as the new provider due to their established experience in
running cafes and events.
Alternative options
considered and
rejected
The alternative option would be to continue looking for a tenant,
however this was rejected as it would leave the museum without
a café provider for a number of weeks.
