The deadline to register to vote in this election is Monday 20 April. Poll cards will be sent to electors in April. If you receive a poll card, this means you are registered and do not need to re-register.
If you are not registered, or you have recently changed your name, address or nationality, you can do this online on the GOV.UK website.
Information about who can vote can in a local government election is available on the GOV.UK website and The Electoral Commission for EU citizens.
Voter ID
At these elections, you will need to provide photographic identification before you can vote at a polling station. Read Hillingdon Council's voter ID page to find out what ID is acceptable. If you do not have one of the required forms of ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate. The deadline to apply is 5pm, Tuesday 28 April.
If you are unable to vote in person, you can apply to vote by post or appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.
Voting by post
If you wish to apply for a postal vote, please note that Hillingdon Council must receive your application by 5pm, Tuesday 21 April.
You do not need photo ID to vote by post, but you will need your National Insurance Number to apply.
You can apply for a postal vote online.
Voting by proxy
If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, they will need to go to your polling station and have their own photo ID to vote on your behalf.
The deadline for proxy applications is 5pm, Tuesday 28 April.
You can apply for a proxy vote online.
About Hillingdon Docs
This is an independent, resident-led project providing automated tracking of planning applications and council records across the London Borough of Hillingdon. Use the menu at the top right to navigate between planning dashboards, decision trackers, and council meeting records.
Get Involved
This project is run by an interested Hillingdon resident—not a political party or government body. If you would like to receive email updates when new documents are added, or if you have suggestions for the site, please email docs@hillingdondocs.uk.
