Executive Decision Notice –30 July 2021 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Northgate Public Services For Revenues, Benefits And Housing Systems Reference No. CMD233 Date of decision 30 July 2021 Call-in expiry date 6 August 2021 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance and Property Services Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) All Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Leader of the Council – Councillor Ian Edwards Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Transformation – Councillor Douglas Mills DECISION APPROVED That the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Transformation a pprove the direct award to Northgate Public Services (UK) L imited for the provision of hosting, support and maintenance of the Council’s revenues, benefits and housing systems, for a 12- month period from August 2021 and at the total value of £462,850. Reason for decision Awarding the contract to Northgate Public Services (UK) Limited for the provision of hosting, support and maintenance of the Council’s Revenues and Benefits and Housing systems will ensure continuity of these critical applications. Alternative options considered and rejected Do nothing: The Council would be left with no support for the Revenues and Benefits and Housing systems which would seriously put at risk the financial services to both the Council and residents. Classification Report exempt from publication: The report relating to this decision was declared as exempt from publication as it involved the disclosure of information in accordance with Section 100(A) and paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12 (A) to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), in that the report contained information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) and that the public interest in withholding the information outweighed the public interest in disclosing it. Upon receipt of a valid call-in request, Democratic Services will immediately advise the relevant officer(s) and the decision must then be put on hold.
