Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by

Decision Approved
That the Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and
Transport and the Cabinet Member for Finance:
1) A ccept the tender from P&I Generators Ltd for the
provision of Service, Maintenance, and repairs for
Generator & UPS Systems for Housing & Corpora te
Sites for a period of 4 years from 1st July 2024 to 30
June 2028 and at the value of £32k per annum; and
2) A gree that this includes the provision to extend the
contract for a further 2-year period (6 years in total),
delegating approval of any extension to the
Corporate Director of Place in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport
and the Cabinet Member for Finance.
Reason for decision The council requires the contract to contain the provision of
additional Standby generators to be deployed within specified
times to sites where Power outages are expected to last and
services are affected.
Alternative options
considered and
rejected
The Council could decide not to complete regular inspections of
its current assets. However, it would be in breach of its
requirements.
