Executive Decision Notice – 28 April 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision THE PROVISION OF AN EMERGENCY PROPERTY PROTECTION SERVICE FOR SECURING DOORS AND WINDOWS Reference No. 456 Date of decision Thursday 28 April 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Friday 06 May 2022 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance & Property Relevant Ward(s) All Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Martin Goddard - Cabinet Member for Finance Councillor Jonathan Bianco - Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure accept the tender from Orbis Protect Limited for the provision of an emergency property protection service for securing doors and windows to the London Borough of Hillingdon for three years + a two-year extension period from 01 of April 2022 to 31 of March 2027 and at the value of £150k. Reason for decision There is no formal term contract currently in place for this service with instructions to contractors provided on an ad hoc basis. The proposed arrangement will provide increased commercial and contractual rigor in the operational delivery of services. Alternative options considered and rejected There are no alternative options, Orbis Protect Ltd currently provide a service on an ad-hoc basis.
