Executive Decision Notice – 14 October 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Housing Revenue Account Major Adaptations to Property 2022/23: Extension in St Mary’s Road - Tender Approval and Capital Release No.3 Reference No. 600 Date of decision Friday 14 October 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Friday 21 October 2022 Relevant Select Committee Property, Highways and Transport Select Committee Relevant Wards All Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport: 1. accepted the tender and approve d the award of contract for the extension works in St Mary’s Road to Hillrose Property Services Limited at a cost of £102,910; and 2. agreed to the capital release request of £123,490 inclusive of contingencies and fees from Housing Revenue Account Major Adaptations to Property 2022/23 budget for adaptations to Council property for the disabled tenants. Reason for decision The proposed contract is to undertake the adaptation works in St Mary’s Road, as detailed in Appendix B to the confidential report. Adaptations to Council properties are commissioned by the Council for works needed by disabled tenants to adapt and improve their hom es so that they can continue to live independently. Alternative options considered and rejected Rehousing options are not viable.
