Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by

Decision Approved
That the Leader of the Council, the Cabinet Member for
Property, Highways and Transport, and the Cabinet
Member for Finance:
1. Approve the Freehold purchase of three new build
houses 121, 123 & 125 Judge Heath Lane UB3 2PB at
the value set out in the report.
2. Agree to the budget virement from the HRA
Unallocated Acquisitions and Development Budget
2023-2028 to the HRA Acquisition (Buy-Back) Budget
2023-24, and the capital release as set out in the
report in Appendix A.
3. Note the rent setting proposal of London Affordable
Rent and that the properties are to be allocated to
overcrowded council tenants.
4. Authorise further decisions on this project by the
Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and
Transport, in conjunction with officers.
Reason for decision Purchasing these 3 new build homes will contribute to the target
of 100 new council rented homes per year and help to meet the
high demand for social housing. These will be high quality
homes that meet or exceed all current planning standards and

will be more sustainable and require less maintenance than
existing stock.
