Decision made
Cabinet Members
making the decision
Councillor Martin Goddard, Cabinet Member for Finance &
Transformation
Councillor Jonathan Bianco, Cabinet Member for Corporate
Services & Property
Decision Approved
That the Cabinet Member for Finance & Transformation, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate
Services & Property agree to the following capital release
request of £50k from the 2024/25 Property Works
Programme for the funding of the rebuild of toilets at
Ruislip Lido (Appendix A).
Reason for decision Users of the Lido require adequate toilet facilities. The existing
toilets were repaired and upgraded in 2020 but are now no
longer fit for purpose and have insufficient capacity on busy
days. It would be uneconomic to refurbish the existing structure
which has passed its useful life.
Alternative options
considered and
rejected
There are no alternative options considered as the current
facilities are not adequate and have previously received limited
works to prolong their life.
They require demolition and
rebuilding.
