Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by

Decision Approved
That the Leader of the Council and the Cabinet Member for
Children, Families & Education:
1. Agreed to Direct award to Edge Public Solutions
through an appropriate compliant framework for a 3-
year period at £170k per annum from 1st April 2025 to
31st March 2028.
2. Agreed to include the additional transformation work
and implementation of a revised policy for post 16’s
Personal Transport Budgets (PTB’s) which is at a fixed
cost of £120k.
Reason for decision Awarding the contract to Edge Public Solutions will ensure the
efficient and high-quality delivery of a specialist support service
in delivering SEND transportation efficiency projects. This
includes route optimisation and effective management, which
will support the implementation of service review proposals to
revise the policy for post -16 SEND students' travel support.
Additionally, this award will enable Edge Public Solutions to
manage the transportation services budget effectively amidst
demand for transportation services and market pressures.
