Reason for decision Under the Constitution, the granting of a lease for a term of fifteen years and a rent in the range of £10,000 - £100,000 requires the approval of the Cabinet Member for Property & Infrastructure. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Member could choose not to approve th e grant of the new lease. However, as the school is being relocated from their current location at High Street , Yiewsley which is part of the Falling Lane proposed development , that would mean that the Council would lose the rent they currently pay of £30,054 per annum.
