Executive Decision Notice – 23 November 2021 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision GRANT OF LEASE OF COMMERCIAL PREMISES - Haste Hill Public Golf Course Clubhouse Reference No. 319 Date of decision Monday 23 November 2021 Call-in expiry date 5pm, on Monday 30 November 2021 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance and Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) Northwood Hills Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure APPROVED That the Cabinet Member authorised a business lease for Haste Hill Golf Course Clubhouse, The Drive, Northwood, negotiated by officers as detailed in th e report and instructed Legal Services to complete the appropriate lease documentation. Reason for decision Under the Constitution, where the term of the proposed new lease is under 7 years and the annual rent is between £10,000– £100,000, the grant of the new lease must be approved by the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Member could choose to refuse the proposed lease until a full wider review of golf provision in the Borough has been completed. However, this is likely to have a direct impact on Golf Course membership uptake which has seen a decline in recent months.
