Executive Decision Notice – 30 November 2021 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Commercial Property Lease Renewal – Land Beneath Hayes Bypass, to the North Side of Pump Lane, Hayes Reference No. 324 Date of decision Monday 30 November 2021 Call-in expiry date 5pm, on Monday 7 December 2021 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance and Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) Townfield Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure APPROVED That the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure agreed the terms for the renewal of leases negotiated by officers as detailed in th e report and authorise d Legal Services to complete the new lease on these terms. Reason for decision The Cabinet Member was asked to agree the proposed lease renewals in accordance with the Council’s Constitution. This requires the Cabinet Member for Property and I nfrastructure to formally authorise the grant of a lease of between 7-25 years at a rent of up to £250k. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Member could choose not to approve the lease renewals negotiated and consider alternative land uses. However, t he entrance leading into the property is privately owned which restricts access and use.
