Executive Decision Notice – 13 December 2021 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Contract for Asbestos Management Surveys, Sampling and Technical Support Reference No. 337 Date of decision Monday 13 December 2021 Call-in expiry date 5pm, on Monday 20 December 2021 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance & Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) All Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance APPROVED That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure: 1. Accept the tender from TRAC Associates Ltd for the provision of Asbestos Management Surveys, Air Sampling and Technical Support across the HRA and Corporate Estate 2. Agree that this includes the provision to extend the contract for a 2-year period (5 years in total), subject to the extension being agreed under the relevant delegated authority. Reason for decision To ensure the Council remains compliant with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (L143 - second edition 2013) and HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide 2012 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Alternative options considered and rejected There are no alternative options given the legal requirement.
