Executive Decision Notice – 05 January 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Sale of 8 Queens Lodge, Margate Reference No. 355 Date of decision Wednesday 05 January 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, on Wednesday 12 January 2022 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance and Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) N/A Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Ian Edwards – Leader of the Council Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure APPROVED That the Leader of the Council and the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure: 1. Declared the flat as surplus to requirements; 2. Authorised the leasehold sale of Flat 8 Queens Lodge for the value set out in the report; and 3. Instructed Legal Services to complete the appropriate legal documentation Reason for decision The last direction from Cabinet Members was to continue to privately market the flats in this block as and when they became void. The sale of the flat would provide additional receipts to spend on services within the Borough. Alternative options considered and rejected The Leader and the Cabinet Member could have chosen not to accept the offer made.
