Accepted the tender and approved the award of contract for the supply and installation of A+ Rated Double- Glazed windows in 36 properties as part of the Planned Window Renewals Programme – Phase 8 to Mysons Limited for a period of 12- 15 weeks at the value of £193,094.26. 2. Agreed to the following release request of £ 222k inclusive of contingencies and fees from the Window Renewals work-stream within the Housing Revenue Account Works to Stock programme 2022/23 budget for the supply and installation of “A+ Rated” Double Glazed windows Phase 8. Reason for decision The proposed contract is to undertake the planned renewal of single glazed windows in 36 number properties, detailed in Appendix C of the confidential report. This is Phase 8 of a phased programme of window renewals which is aimed at quickly dealing with replacements and enabling the effective management of smaller work packages Executive Decision Notice – 7 June 2022 Page 2 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk and reducing costs using smaller more specialist installation companies. Alternative options considered and rejected This approach will enable more specialist contractors to deliver installations at lower costs.
