Executive Decision Notice – 28 June 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision HOUSING REVENUE ACCOUNT WORKS TO STOCK 2022/23 PROGRAMME – CONVERSION OF WARDENS FLATS – LOTS 1, 2 & 3 TENDER APPROVAL AND CAPITAL RELEASE No. 6 Reference No. 492 Date of decision Tuesday 28 June 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Tuesday 5 July 2022 Relevant Select Committee Property, Highways & Transport Select Committee Relevant Ward All Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure agree to the following: 1. Accept the tender from Arc Group London Ltd. for the provision of works at 1 St Catherines Farm Court - Lot 1, at the value of £120,245; 2. Accept the tender from Arc Group London Ltd. for the provision of works at 5 Drayton Court - Lot 2, at the value of £59,090; 3. Accept the tender from Greyline Builders Ltd. for the provision of works at 7 Childs Court - Lot 3, at the value of £119,356.26; 4. Approves the capital release request of £ 367k from the capital works programme budget from the funding of the Wardens Flats conversions listed in Lots 1, 2 & 3. (Appendix A). Executive Decision Notice – 28 June 2022 Page 2 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk Reason for decision The recommendation is to increase property numbers by the conversion of three void scheme manager properties into four new sheltered housing flats and one new general need short term let property. Alternative options considered and rejected Undertake the refurbishment of the three voids properties and relet as large, sheltered housing units. This will have significantly lower refurbishment costs; however, they will have limited use in the sheltered housing schemes.
