Release 8 Reference No. 575 Date of decision Friday 14 October 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Friday 21 October 2022 Relevant Select Committee Property, Highways and Transport Select Committee. Relevant Wards Hillingdon West Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finan ce and the Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport agree to the following capital release request of £23k from the Property of Works Programme 2022/23: Miscellaneous Work Programme – Installation of new generation CCTV System at the Battle of Britain Site. Reason for decision To make the Uniter Building more secure and to increase CCTV coverage on this building and to upgrade the existing cameras to allow for lights and sirens to be activated remotely and for the Civic Centre security officers to talk directly to the individuals/warn them that have been observed and that the police have been alerted. Alternative options considered and rejected No viable options exist for these works. Classification Part II – Private That this report be declared as exempt from publication as it involves the disclosure of information in accordance with Executive Decision Notice – 14 October 2022 Page 2 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk Section 100(A) and paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12 (A) to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), in that the report contains information relating to any action taken or to be taken in connection with the prevention, investigation or prosecution of crime and that the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.
