Decision Agreed
That the Leader of the Council, in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Finance and Cabinet Member for
Planning, Housing and Property, agree to the following
capital release request of £3,536K from the 2026/27
Hillingdon Water Sports and Activity Centre budget for
the purchase of land and the associated costs
(Appendix A).
Reason for decision The capital release of £3,536k from the 2026/27 Hillingdon
Water Sports and Activity Centre budget was approved to
facilitate the purchase of Broadwater Lake and associated
acquisition costs following planning approval. The site was
considered suitable for the development of a water sports
and outdoor activity centre and its acquisition was
considered necessary to secure continued provision of high-
quality outdoor recreation facilities for Hillingdon residents.

considered feasible to meet the project's requirements.
