Executive Decision Notice – 30 March 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision Moorfield Road - New Build Shared Ownership Development - Release No 3 Reference No. 427 Date of decision Wednesday 30 March 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Wednesday 06 April 2022 Relevant Select Committee(s) Corporate, Finance & Property Select Committee Relevant Ward(s) Brunel Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco - Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property and Infrastructure: 1) Approved a virement of £50k from the Acquisitions and Internal Developments budget to the rear of 113- 127 Moorfield Road project to cover the increase in the project cost for additional works identified on site relating to utility and contamination works; and, 2) Agreed to the capital release request of £150k from the rear of 113- 127 Moorfield Road project budget inclusive of proposed virement (recommendation 1) for the funding of the additional supplementary utility and contamination works. Reason for decision The development will provide much needed affordable housing and make best use of the Council’s assets for the benefit of local residents. Alternative options considered and rejected Investigations were made as to the cost viability of re-designing the dwellings to an all-electric heating/power provision following Executive Decision Notice – 30 March 2022 Page 2 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk receipt of the quotation for the gas connection. This investigation proved to be cost negative.
