Executive Decision Notice – 04 October 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision CAPITAL RELEASE REPORT (September 2022) DEPARTMENT: PLACE SERVICE AREA / PROGRAMME: Property of Works Programme 2022/23: Internal Fabric Workstream – Children's Centres Internal Fabric Remedials Programme Phase 1 RELEASE NO: 11 Reference No. 586 Date of decision Tuesday 4 October 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Tuesday 11 October 2022 Relevant Select Committee Property, Highways and Transport Select Committee Relevant Wards Charville, Colham & Cowley, Hillingdon East and West Drayton Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and the Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport agree d to the capital release requests of £123k from the Internal Fabric Workstream within the Property of Works Programme 2022/23 capital budget for the Children’s Centre Internal Fabric Remedials Programme Phase 1. Reason for decision The decision will ensure that the internal fabric within the 6 children’s centres and 1 assisted living home will meet the standards expected of the Care Quality Commission. Alternative options considered and rejected The Cabinet Members could have chosen not to progress with the works; however, this would have resulted in the 6 children’s centres and 1 assisted living home not meeting the Care Quality Commission’s required standards.
