Executive Decision Notice – 14 October 2022 Page 1 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon: Title of decision School Conditions Programme 2022/23 - Appointment of Consultants at Hillside Infant School, Newnham Junior School, Hedgewood School a nd Breakspear School (Release No 7) Reference No. 611 Date of decision Friday 14 October 2022 Call-in expiry date 5pm, Friday 21 October 2022 Relevant Select Committee Property, Highways and Transport Select Committee Relevant Wards Northwood Hills, Eastcote, Ickenham and South Harefield and Charville Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and Cabinet Member for Property Highways & Transport a greed to the capital release request of £ 96k from the School Conditions Building Programme 202 2/23-2026/27 budget for the consultation works and associated costs relating to works at Hillside Infant School, Newnham Junior School, Hedgewood School and Breakspear School. Reason for decision Roofs across Hillside Inf ant School require extensive works throughout. Full replacement of toilets throughout Newnham Junior School as well as addressing structural and drainage related issues are required to ensure facilities are fit for purpose. Extensive repairs and augmentations at Hedgewood School are required to ensure the drainage is fit for purpose. Augmentation works to the Fire Alarm and Emergency lighting system at Breakspear School or full replacement are required. Classification Part II – Private That this report be declared as exempt from publication as it involves the disclosure of information in accordance with Section 100(A) and paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12 (A) to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), in that the report contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) and that the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it.
