Decision Approved
That the Cabinet Members:
1. Approve the use of Council -approved Minor Works
framework contractors using varying Lots and term
contractors to undertake the installation of energy
saving measures as detailed to 249 housing
properties to improve the energy performance rating
of each property to a band C rating.
2. Approve the release of capital funding of £4,997k
inclusive of contingency sums and professional fees
to undertake this work.
Reason for decision The decarbonisation works planned for 249 Council-owned
properties in Hillingdon will have significant benefits for
residents, service users, and the broader community. By
improving the energy efficiency of these homes, particularly
through measures such as new windows, heat recovery
ventilation sy stems, loft insulation, and cavity wall insulation,
residents will experience warmer, healthier living environments
with reduced risks of damp and mould. This will not only

enhance their quality of life but also lower energy bills, alleviating
fuel poverty for many households.
