That the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services & Property
authorised the grant of a renewal of the lease and rent, as
negotiated by officers and as detailed in th e confidential
report and instruct ed the Corporate Director of Place to
complete the appropriate legal documents in consultation
with legal services.
Reason for decision A substantial rental increase has been agreed. It is believed that
this is the maximum achievable rental increase for the granting
of the new lease.

The Cabinet Member could have chosen not to approve the
grant of new lease negotiated and consider alternative uses.
