OFFICIAL EXECUTIVE DECISION NOTICE
PUBLISHED BY DEMOCRATIC SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that the following decision(s) have been made today by
Cabinet Members at the London Borough of Hillingdon:
Title of decision COMMERCIAL PROPERTY RENT REVIEWS – LAND AT
MASTER BREWER
Reference No. 1567
Date of decision Wednesday 03 December 2025
Call-in expiry date Wednesday 10 December 2025
Relevant Select
Committee
Corporate Resources & Infrastructure Select Committee
Relevant Wards Hillingdon East
Decision made
Cabinet Members making
the decision
Councillor Jonathan Bianco
Cabinet Member for Corporate Services & Property
Decision That the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services &
Property authorised the agreement of the outstanding
rent reviews on the basis set out in the associated
report.
Reason for decision Following extensive negotiations with the tenant, it is
recommended the Council agree the three outstanding rent
reviews, as set out in the report.
Agreeing the increased rent will result in an increase in
revenue income to the General Fund.
Alternative options
considered and rejected
The alternative is not to approve the negotiated proposed
settlement of the outstanding rent reviews. This is likely to
lead to the rent reviews being referred to a third- party
determination by arbitration. This option is not viable as
third-party determination is an uncertain process which may
result in significant increased fees
Classification Part II – Members Only and Not for Publication
