Relevant Wards West Drayton Decision made Cabinet Members making the decision Councillor Jonathan Bianco – Cabinet Member for Property, Highways & Transport Councillor Martin Goddard – Cabinet Member for Finance Approved That the Cabinet Member for Finance and Cabinet Member for Property, Highways and Transport: 1. approve the appointment of single tender action to appoint Ethos Construction London Ltd at a cost of £166,500 to carry out works to extend and refurbish 114a Harmondsworth R oad, West Drayton, UB7 9JW; and 2. agree to the capital release request of £196k from the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Extensions budget for construction costs and associated fees (Appendix A). Reason for decision To make the best use of the Council’s assets for the benefi t of local residents requiring housing accommodation. Alternative options considered and rejected Alternative options to build new housing stock of 4 bed units has been explored. However, the opportunity to extend current stock is more favourable and would provide better value for money for the Council.
