Reason for decision To provide independent assurance that the works and associated valuations meet the Council's contractual requirements, support value for money and protect public funds. Alternative options considered and rejected No alternative options were considered. Factors considered The need for independent technical and commercial assurance, contractual compliance, value for money and appropriate governance.
