Reason for decision The appointment of external consultants was required to support the delivery of a Council-led housing regeneration project within Hayes (Austin Road and Avondale Estates), which will include the provision of much needed affordable and social housing, as well as the associated infrastructure required to support the proposed developments. Alternative options considered and rejected No alternatives to this appointment were considered due to the complex nature of the regeneration projects; it was deemed necessary to continue the approach of appointing external consultancies with appropriate experience and expertise.
