A gree to award a contract to Bailey Partnership (Consultants) LLP to provide Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services at the costs set out in this report, for the proposed adaptation works to form Specialist Education Needs provision at Charville Academy and Ruislip Gardens Primary School. 2. Agree to the capital release request of £ 289k from the Schools SRP Programme budget for the proposed adaptation works to form Specialist Education Needs provision at Charville Academy and Ruislip Gardens Primary School. Reason for decision The proposed works outlined in this report will meet the changing need for school places in the Borough, particularly the increasing demand for special needs places which has led to the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) deficit. These places are Executive Decision Notice – 28 June 2022 Page 2 This notice is a public document also available to view on the Council's website www.hillingdon.gov.uk crucial to delivering the Council’s (DSG) deficit recovery safety valve agreement with Department for Education (DfE). Alternative options considered and rejected Not progressing with these proposed schemes will put additional pressure on the available specialist education places available.
